Responsibilities :

• Perform orthoptic exams on ophthalmology patients including diagnosis and treatment of specific conditions.
• Instructs ophthalmology residents, medical students, physician's assistants, and allied health personnel on pediatric ophthalmology.
• Plan and coordinate the daily operational activities of the department including direct supervision of the clinic assistant and the ophthalmology residents on rotation.
• Provide patient / family education relating to specific conditions, schedule surgeries for the ophthalmology patients, order supplies, etc.
