A full-time Behavior Specialist with BCBA certification is sought for an on-site contract role supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in a middle school setting located in Naples, Florida. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact within the Collier County Public Schools system, focusing on Cypress Palm Middle School. The contract runs from ASAP through May 29, 2026, with a 37.5-hour workweek.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans tailored to the needs of students with ASD.
- Conduct functional assessments and analyze behavioral data to guide intervention strategies.
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student progress.
- Provide training and guidance on behavior management techniques for staff and caregivers.
- Monitor, revise, and document student progress toward behavioral goals.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active BCBA licensure is required.
- Experience working with the ASD student population is highly preferred.
- Must be able to complete fingerprinting requirements in compliance with Florida school district regulations; previous prints on file through the AHCA Clearinghouse can expedite this process.
