Description :

Telemetry Registered Nurse for night shifts is required.

Candidates will float between facilities as needed.

Average daily patient census is 16.

The nurse will work every third weekend.

Patient-to-nurse ratio is 1 : 4-6.

Experience in charting with the EPIC system is mandatory.

Candidates must possess ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.

The unit accepts first-time travelers.

Patient demography includes adults and geriatrics.

Common diagnoses include total joint replacement, neuro spine, general surgery, wounds, diabetes, and medical COVID.

Post-operative care for oral surgery will begin in mid-July.

Interdisciplinary support will include various services such as physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy.

Registered Nurses will be expected to manage specific skills, including blood product administration, cardiac telemetry, and wound care.

Travel compliance deadlines will be established prior to the start date.

Candidates must adhere to specific staffing and scheduling policies.

A maximum of seven days of requested time off per 13-week contract is encouraged.

References and valid state licensure are required.

Local candidates within a certain mile radius are not accepted.

All travelers are required to float within the service line as needed.

Candidates should ensure the skills checklist is completed at the time of submission.
