A company is looking for a Temporary Instructor for the MHA program in the Department of Healthcare Leadership and Management.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as an instructor for graduate-level MHA courses, typically teaching 2-3 courses per academic year
Design and deliver high-quality instruction, including lectures and assessments, while maintaining office hours for student support
Collaborate with faculty and program leadership to ensure course content is current and aligned with learning outcomes
Required Qualifications
Doctoral degree in Healthcare Administration / Management, Business Administration / Management, or a closely related field
Evidence of successful teaching experience in a Healthcare Administration program in higher education
Demonstrated potential to contribute to research and grant activities in Healthcare Administration
Alternatively, a master's degree with significant professional experience in healthcare administration may be considered
At least 18 graduate semester hours in healthcare administration or related discipline, along with documented professional qualifications
