Dump Truck Driver CDL A

Job Description:
Central Southern Construction is seeking an experienced CDL Class A Dump Truck Driver for a traveling civil construction position. This role involves transporting materials to and from job sites across multiple project locations. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, reliable, and comfortable traveling for extended periods as project needs require.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate CDL Class A dump trucks safely and efficiently

• Haul aggregates, asphalt, dirt, and construction materials to and from job sites

• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections

• Comply with DOT regulations, company safety policies, and jobsite rules

• Maintain accurate logs and required documentation

• Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and jobsite personnel

• Assist with general labor duties when needed

Requirements:

• Valid CDL Class A license

• Clean driving record preferred

• Previous dump truck or heavy equipment hauling experience required

• Knowledge of DOT rules and safe driving practices

• Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment

• Willingness to travel and stay overnight as required by project location

• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check

Travel & Schedule:

• Traveling position based on project needs

• Lodging and travel arrangements provided or coordinated by the company

• Variable schedule including early mornings, weekends, and overtime as needed
