Our Commercial Aftermarket Group in East Aurora is looking for a Senior Program Manager to work closely with engineering to manage the R&D projects for Next Gen Single Aisle. We're seeking a motivated leader to collaborate externally with our customers and internally with our teams and management to meet or exceed program expectations. You will report to the General Manager CAG OE Development Programs.
To be considered for the Senior Program Manager, here's what you'll need to bring with you :
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or business-related degree
- Minimum three (3) years of Program Management experience
- Minimum seven (7) years of professional work experience (including program management experience)
- Proven Leadership Experience, excellent listening and persuasion skills
- Demonstrated team collaboration skills, emotional intelligence, and customer focus.
- Requires access to US Export Controlled information.
- Knowledge of project management tools including Earned Value Management
- Experience managing multiple projects with focus on cost, schedule and risk.
- Experience navigating complex customer requirements and contracts.
- Experience in reporting and managing series production line of balance / recovery to customer.
- Experience working with operations, supply chain and engineering functions.
- Experience working with International customers / suppliers
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to present program information to customers and Moog leadership; ability to navigate high pressure situations.
- Ability to lead, organize, and influence people through outstanding communication and facilitation skills.
- Experience in Aerospace or Automotive industries.
As a Senior Program Manager, you will :
Ensure compliance with contract requirements. Track changes to project workscope and support negotiation of Contract Amendments.Achieve program / project objectives through effective application of project management principles related to scope, schedule, and budget.Anticipate project risks and develop mitigation plans to maintain project schedule.Support design for manufacture and assembly / process improvements / cost reduction projects to drive margin expansion.Drive cross functional teams to resolve part shortages and recovery plans and then present to our customer to support on-time and on-quality deliveries.Coordinate discussions between internal functional groups and external stakeholders (Customers / Suppliers) to resolve problems.How we care for you :

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, employee stock purchase plan, an open paid time off policy, and many region-specific benefits.
