ISO - Email Security Engineer

Overview

Looking for an Email Security Engineer with a firm understanding of email technologies and a passion for securing it. Successful candidates will utilize email security knowledge and an understanding of email technologies to properly secure our email security infrastructure.

Duties

• Lead projects involving email security or new email technologies to ensure corporate compliance and prevent business email compromise.
• Stay current with email security concerns and emerging threats related to email security.
• Perform analysis of existing email infrastructure and email security technologies to eliminate gaps that could lead to compromise of data or devices.
• Document all email security technologies in place and proposed changes to improve overall security posture for the enterprise.
• Point of contact for email security incidents.
• Identify any email security deficiencies, analyze data to determine best path to remediate those deficiencies.
  Develop phishing simulation and end user email security awareness training.
• Ability to manage DKIM, DMARC, SPF, email gateways, and Exchange Online Protection or similar technologies in a large enterprise environment.
• Assist stakeholders with ensuring any interface with email infrastructure is done in a safe and secure manner to prevent coopting of that environment for malicious purposes.

Education

Bachelors of Science in a computer related field preferred, but not required.

Experience

• Cloud/Email security experience a plus
• 10+ years of email infrastructure administration experience with at least 4 years of email security focus/responsibility
