Registered Nurse - Oncology -Hematology Clinic - PRN

Job Description Saint Luke's Hospital East in Lee's Summit is hiring for an Infusion Registered Nurse for their Oncology Outpatient Oncology and Hematology Clinic. This position is part of a rapidly growing program and will assist with research studies, provide patient and family education, and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary innovative care team committed to improving patient outcomes. This is a high volume fast-paced Magnet designated clinic. This is cross trained between clinic and infusion. Clinic Hours : Monday - Friday 8 AM to 4 : 30 PM. The PRN commitment we are looking for is 3 shifts a week with a 2-3 weekends / year 1 holiday every 2-3 years requirement. We are looking for experienced nurses with Oncology experience or strong IV skills. To be successful, you will need to be organized, team oriented, adaptable, and enjoy helping others. We are seeking compassionate nurses who possess strong relationship building skills and enjoy going above and beyond for their patients while keeping the whole patient in mind. Responsibilities : Utilize the nursing process. Coordinates care w / Multidisciplinary Team. Delegates tasks. Formal or informal leadership within unit or department. Administer chemotherapy and Immunotherapy Patient education Job Requirements Applicable Experience : 1 year Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross, Registered Nurse - Various Associate Degree Job Details PRN Day (United States of America) The best place to get care.
