Hiring : Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) – PL / SQL

Location : Pittsburgh, PA (On-site)

Duration : 6 Months (Possible Extension)

Work Eligibility : USC & GC candidates only

Job Summary

We’re seeking an experienced Oracle DBA with strong PL / SQL expertise to support mission-critical databases in a fast-paced environment. This role focuses on performance tuning, database optimization, and ensuring high availability across production and development systems.

Must-Have Skills

  • 5+ years as an Oracle DBA with proven PL / SQL development experience
  • Strong command of Oracle Database Administration
  • Expertise in performance tuning and query optimization
  • Deep knowledge of backup / recovery strategies & high-availability solutions
  • Experience with Unix / Linux and shell scripting
  • Excellent communication & problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimize Oracle databases in production and development environments
  • Develop, test, and deploy PL / SQL scripts, procedures, and packages
  • Perform performance tuning , troubleshooting, and query optimization
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance
  • Maintain backup, recovery, and DR plans
  • Monitor database health and implement proactive stability measures
