Description
A major aerospace company is looking for a Semiconductor Fab Technician for their Semiconductor Fab.

Responsibilities:
• Operate, monitor, and maintain semiconductor processing equipment (, photolithography, etch, deposition, metrology, packaging).
• Load/unload wafers and ensure proper documentation and handling.
• Perform routine equipment startups, shutdowns, and calibrations.
• Assist in troubleshooting and recovering process deviations or equipment issues.
• Follow detailed work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and safety protocols.
• Accurately record data and maintain production logs and reports.
• Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to support process improvement initiatives.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards within the cleanroom environment.

Basic Qualifications for Semiconductor Fab Technician:
• High school diploma or GED.
• Computer & communication skills (Microsoft Office)
• Ability to work in a cleanroom (gowning required) and handle small, delicate components.
• Excellent communication skills and a strong team-oriented attitude.
• May require standing for long periods, lifting up to lbs, and working in shifts, including nights or weekends

Preferred Qualifications for Semiconductor Fab Technician:
• Experience in FOD controlled lab environment
• Familiarity with shop order or manufacturing execution systems (MES)
• Associate degree or technical training in Electronics, or related field. - Experience with legacy semiconductor tools, including both wet and dry processes.
• Exposure to low-volume, high-mix R&D or prototyping environments.
• Basic understanding of process flows across front-end and back-end semiconductor fabrication.
