Texas Licensed Clinical Pharmacist

A company is looking for a Clinical Pharmacist - Medicaid Prior Authorization.

Key Responsibilities

Support Medicaid prior authorization processes and clinical decision-making

Work in a high production remote team environment, adhering to evidence-based clinical guidelines

Review medical records and clinical literature to ensure compliance with formulary designs and prescription benefit trends

Required Qualifications

Active and unrestricted TX and / or AZ pharmacist license

3+ years of experience as a pharmacist or completion of PGY1 managed care residency

Experience with clinical decision-making and prior authorization processes

Demonstrated understanding of clinical program components and formulary designs

Ability to obtain a secondary pharmacist license (AZ or TX) within 90 days of hire
