Join our dedicated team at Albany Medical Center, recognized as the first hospital in the US to achieve verification by the Society of Vascular Surgeons and the American College of Surgeons as a Comprehensive Vascular Surgical Center. Our Vascular Surgery Units focus on treating patients with vascular disease and other surgical patients requiring telemetry monitoring. You will encounter a diverse patient population, from acutely ill individuals to those with chronic conditions, often with multiple co-morbidities, ages ranging from 18 to over 90, primarily between 45-65 years old.

As a Clinical Nurse II, you will play a vital role in fostering a compassionate and caring environment for patients, families, and colleagues through empathy and active listening. Your contributions are essential to our mission and the overall success of our healthcare team.

Job Responsibilities

• Implement physician orders, administer medications, initiate IVs, perform treatments, and document as required by policies and regulations.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions effectively.
• Assess and evaluate patient needs for care and responses to treatments.

Utilize sound nursing judgment in managing patient care decisions.
