Epi is a 6 month old orange, American shorthair. He has a ton of energy and loves to play with people. Be careful as he does like to bite when he’s playing. Epi has a neurological disorder called Cerebellar Hypoplasia, making it hard for him to balance or walk on his own. Due to this, he falls a lot of the time and will move around by crawling on the floor. This disorder doesn’t stop him from constantly trying to stand or walk on his own. He is highly encouraged to walk or stand to help build coordination and strength in his back legs, where the disorder affects him the most. But I do ask that he is supervised and has his neck pillow on whenever he’s on the floor. Furthermore, he is capable of getting himself to his litter box and will began to cry when he wants to go. However, in the case that he cannot make it on his own. Whether he gets stuck or is too unstable to make it. He should be lifted into the litter box. Don’t worry he won’t need any more help when he’s in the litter box. But if he poops make sure to wipe his butt with a warm wipe. Moreover, he has a hard time drinking water and may need someone to hold him steady while he stands by his water bowl.
