Compliance Clerk
The Compliance Clerk plays a vital role in supporting the organization's compliance efforts. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate documentation, assisting with audits, coordinating training, and ensuring data integrity across compliance-related activities. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working collaboratively across departments.
Specific Duties:
- Maintain and organize compliance documents, process incoming paperwork, and ensure all records of compliance activities are accurate and up-to-date.
- Coordinate and schedule compliance training sessions for employees to ensure they are aware of relevant policies and regulations.
- Support internal compliance audits by helping with the collection and organization of necessary data and documentation. LRSP, Tax Credit, Affordable Housing Reports, etc.
- Enter, research, and analyze compliance-related data and information to identify any gaps or errors in business operations.
- Handle various clerical tasks, such as managing the compliance audit calendar, distributing compliance documents, and responding to internal compliance inquiries.
- Work with various departments, including HR, Legal, and Finance, to ensure consistent adherence to compliance standards across the organization.
Desired Qualifications:
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, maintain accurate records, and handle documentation efficiently.
- A critical skill for identifying discrepancies, errors, and inconsistencies in documents and data.
- Familiarity with data entry, Onesite, word, excel, PowerPoint, document management systems, and compliance software.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and other staff regarding compliance matters.
