Clinical Nurse III : Emergency Department - Night Shift

Salary Range : $88,192.00 - $136,697.60

• Execute physician orders, administer medications, initiate IVs, perform treatments and procedures, and document care according to policy and regulations.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions.
• Conduct thorough assessments of patient needs and responses to care.
• Utilize strong nursing judgment to make informed patient care decisions.
• Provide primary and emergency care for various injuries and illnesses.
• Administer medications as prescribed, including over-the-counter and prescription medications.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to develop individualized Plans of Care for all patients.
• Direct and mentor ancillary personnel while maintaining high standards of professional nursing practice.
• Must have graduated from a professional nursing program that awarded a Diploma, Associate Degree, or Baccalaureate Degree.
• Hold a current New York State Registered Nurse license.
• Maintain certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• Required to have at least 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
• Possess excellent communication, prioritization, organizational, and time-management abilities.
• Familiarity with quality concepts and problem-solving tools, and the ability to apply these in support of departmental and patient care quality improvement.
