[job_card.job_description]Work in the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) of an acute care hospital Critically ill adult patient population with a 1 : 2 nurse-to-patient ratio Day shift schedule : 3x12-hour shifts from 7 : 00 am to 7 : 00 pm Holiday rotation and every other weekend required Floating within scope to like units as needed; travelers may float first Uses Epic charting system Responsible for delivering complex critical care to MICU patients in a 276-bed acute care setting Expected to work collaboratively with hospital care teams and float as needed Royal blue scrubs are required All mandatory EMR modules and hospital training must be completed prior to start Holiday coverage assigned based on rotation No local travelers are accepted for this position Requested time off must be included with application and will be approved based on facility needs Active RN license from SC or a compact state must be in hand before start date Minimum 1 year of recent MICU experience required; 2 years preferred Current AHA certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Experience with Epic EMR preferred Must provide Social Security card and Driver's License for consideration Candidates must live more than 60 miles from the facility First-time travelers will not be considered Past employees must have been separated for at least 1 year to be eligible High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts
