We’re looking for a detail-oriented and driven Staff Accountant to join our finance team and support our fast-growing organization. ⸻
Position Summary: The Staff Accountant will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of accurate financial records and reports. This position plays a critical role in maintaining the integrity of our financial systems, ensuring timely month-end close, reconciling accounts, and supporting overall financial operations. ⸻
Key Responsibilities: • Assist in month-end and year-end close processes across multiple entities
• Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations (bank, credit card, prepaid, accruals, etc.)
• Maintain general ledger integrity and accuracy
• Support accounts payable and receivable processes as needed
• Assist in the preparation of internal financial reports, variance analyses, and audit support
• Collaborate with leadership to ensure alignment with budget goals and financial strategy
• Help manage and maintain accounting systems and documentation
• Continuously identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiency
• Assist with special projects, audits, and ad hoc reporting requests ⸻
Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 2+ years of accounting experience (multi-unit experience preferred)
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.)
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Experience in the fitness, retail, or franchise industry is a plus Compensation: per year
