About project

We seek a highly skilled and motivated Director of Software Engineering to lead our software development team. This role is critical to our success, as you will drive the technical vision, architecture, and execution of our software engineering efforts. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including medical doctors, product management, data science, and clinical experts, to deliver high-quality, reliable, and scalable medical imaging solutions, ultimately impacting patient care.

Responsibilities

• Leadership and Management :
• Lead, mentor, train and grow a high-performing software engineering team.
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.
• Set clear goals, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance reviews.
• Technical Strategy and Execution :
• Define and execute the R&D roadmap in alignment with company goals and product vision.
• Drive the architectural design and development of our multi-level machine learning (ML) medical imaging platform.
• Ensure the scalability, security, and robustness of our software solutions.
• Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
• Lead integration of our product in procedure room environment.
• Collaboration and Communication :
• Collaborate with product management to define technical requirements and prioritize features.
• Work closely with data scientists and clinical experts to design and integrate ML models into the software.
• Communicate technical decisions and progress to stakeholders, including executive leadership.
• Quality and Compliance :
• Implement best practices for software development, V&V testing, documentation and deployment according to ISO 13845.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA, FDA).
• Maintain a strong focus on quality assurance and user experience.
