Fabrication Welder

Position Qualifications and Physical Requirements:

• Perform consistent quality MIG, TIG and Arc welds.

• Fit and weld sub-assemblies with tack or spot weld.

• Perform measurements within specified tolerances.

• Exhibit knowledge of material identification, equipment utilization and welding equipment set-up and maintenance.

• General knowledge of equipment and operations.

• Basic understanding of Weld symbols.

• Understand and follow oral and written directions.

• Read a tape measure (imperial and metric).

• Accept responsibility and account for his/her actions.

• Perform work accurately and thoroughly.

• Be dependable and trustworthy.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:

• High School diploma or GED required.

• 2+ years of welding experience preferred.
