Direct Counsel is seeking a Corporate Restructuring Associate Attorney to join a nationally recognized Finance & Restructuring practice.

The position may be based in New York, Wilmington, Dallas, or Minneapolis , with a hybrid work schedule (three days per week in office).

This team provides strategic counsel on a wide range of bankruptcy and financial matters, including complex corporate debt restructurings and related litigation. The ideal candidate will have 2–4 years of experience in bankruptcy and restructuring, along with strong academic credentials and the ability to manage multiple assignments independently.

Key Qualifications :

2–4 years of relevant bankruptcy / restructuring experience

Excellent legal writing and research skills

Strong academic background

Ability to work with minimal supervision on multiple matters

Licensed or eligible to become licensed in the jurisdiction of the office location

Compensation :

The anticipated salary range is $210,000 – $280,000 , commensurate with experience and location. The compensation package includes discretionary and productivity bonuses, a full suite of health and wellness benefits, and a 401(k) plan.
