Lead Software Engineer - Platform Team

About The Role

We are looking for a Lead Software Engineer to drive the development of platform features that the Product Engineering Team will leverage for evolving our risk management capabilities. In this role, you will utilize your expertise to ensure that features are highly scalable and performant, as Brinqa’s platform processes hundreds of millions of vulnerabilities on a daily basis.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing large-scale SaaS applications and will be passionate about delivering high-quality solutions for some of the world’s largest enterprises. This position reports to a Manager of Software Engineering or higher.

• Provide technical leadership for software implementation aligned with the product roadmap.

• Champion processes that enhance team-led work planning, value delivery, and predictable results.
• Participate in planning discussions to ensure quality objectives are well defined, enabling the establishment of standards and metrics.
• Deliver reliable operational support for both internal and external users of our technologies.
• Assist in building a capable team through talent identification and recruitment efforts.
• Help maintain a happy, productive, and autonomous engineering team.
• Enhance productivity by contributing to the development of technical documentation.
