Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist experienced in pediatric and school-based settings. This contract role is situated within an elementary school environment in Flint, MI, focusing on supporting students communication development and educational success throughout the current school year.

Key Qualifications :

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Experience working with pediatric populations in healthcare and school settings
  • Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Strong understanding of speech and language disorders affecting elementary-aged children
  • Ability to design and implement individualized therapy plans to meet student goals

Primary Responsibilities :

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and screenings of students' speech and language abilities
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions tailored to students needs
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports aligned with school and healthcare guidelines
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to creating a positive learning environment
