Summary : Join our dynamic team as a Lead Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, where you will utilize your advanced knowledge to lead and support your fellow team members in a rewarding and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities :
- Monitor, coach, and evaluate team members' performance focusing on productivity and quality management.
- Be a positive role model by fostering teamwork and cooperation within the team.
- Assist in coordinating services, prioritizing assignments, and ensuring effective workflow to facilitate decision-making and problem-solving.
- Perform sonographer duties while guiding team members through complex or novel situations.
- Oversee equipment quality control testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting, and work with Radiology students if applicable.
Minimum Requirements :
Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Technologist program.Registered as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or registered as a Technologist (RT) and certified in sonography (S) by ARRT. State licensure as required by law. Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification.A minimum of four certifications is required.At least 2 years of experience as a registered sonographer.BLS through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer, with card in-hand before start date.At UCHealth, We Improve Lives

Review patient history and physician orders while educating patients about procedures and exams to foster understanding and cooperation.Continually monitor patient conditions, responding appropriately to changes.Select suitable exposure factors and imaging parameters, implementing safety standards.Conduct quality control procedures and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions.Position patients and perform imaging procedures, analyzing results and quality issues.We improve lives through learning, healing, and discovery.
