Parks-Maintenance Crew Leader
City of Watertown has an opening as a Full Time Parks Maintenance Crew Leader with the Parks and Forestry Team!
Join our Parks team in a hands-on role performing maintenance and construction across City parks and facilities. This position supports capital improvement projects and daily operations, including playground installation and repair, building and facility maintenance, landscaping and hardscaping, turf care, athletic fields, ice rinks, snow removal, and forestry assistance. The role operates a variety of equipment, coordinates with contractors and city crews, and applies skills in carpentry, concrete work, and general construction under the supervision of the Director of Parks, Recreation, and Forestry or Park Supervisor.
Commercial Driver's License required within 60 days of hire. Six(6) years of experience in operations and parks maintenance desired. Must obtain within one year an Wisconsin Pesticide Certification Category 3 (ornamentals and Turf). Must be able to lift 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions.

This is a full-time hourly position 7 : 00am to 3 : 00 pm Monday -Friday. Weekend Rotation in the Summer with on call hours as weather or department has need. Starting compensation is $29.10.
