Our Credit Underwriter will be held accountable for :

• Upholds SmartBank Core Values and Core Purpose.
• Compare liquidity, profitability, and credit histories of individual or company being evaluated with similar establishments to determine risk.
• Analyze the financial records like earnings, savings, payments and purchase of the company or individual and recommend other useful financial activity for further plans.
• Assist in the underwriting, structuring, and monitoring of a variety of loans within their assigned portfolio.
• Typically works with 2-3 loan officers, typically located within an assigned geographic region.
• Complete loan applications, including credit analyses and summaries of loan requests, and submits loan for approval to various individuals and committees.
