Material Handling Associate
For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $18 - $24 per hour. In addition, this position is eligible for overtime pay and may also include premium pay or differentials, depending on location. The compensation rate for this position is for candidates located within the United States. Individual pay is determined by several factors including knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. What will you do? The Material Handling Associate is responsible for receiving materials into the ERP system, relocating and storing inventory, and performing quality checks to ensure compliance with standards. This role utilizes material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move items between storage areas. Key responsibilities include maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring proper storage practices, and inspecting incoming materials for damage or discrepancies. By effectively managing material flow, the Material Handling Associate plays a vital role in supporting production schedules and ensuring timely, high-quality shipments.

Time Management & Organization : Skilled at prioritizing and executing multiple tasks with minimal supervision. Technical Proficiency : Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams). Familiarity with ERP systems preferred. Safety Awareness : Strong commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.

What qualifications will make you successful for this role? High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of 2 years in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations preferred. Licenses & Certifications : Valid driver's license required. Forklift certification preferred (or willingness to obtain). Clean driving record required Physical Requirements / Abilities : The Material Handling Associate must demonstrate manual dexterity, physical strength to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds, and the ability to stand for extended periods. Additional requirements include fine motor skills, visual acuity, spatial awareness, and physical stamina to perform tasks accurately and safely. Proficiency in using hand tools (hammer, screwdriver, etc.) and material handling equipment, along with a strong commitment to safety practices, is essential.
