Our customer is looking for a Drupal Developer to help support their flagship site. Their main focus is to elevate their digital and web strategy to offer a compelling, personalized web experience to plan sponsors, advisors, plan participants and individuals with retail choice. Most of the work this person will be asked to do is on the backend and it will require strong collaboration and communication skills with the web master, project managers, the UX / UI teams, and business strategy teams.
This is an Agile team made up of a Manager / Product Owner, Business Analyst, Developers, and QAs who work closely with their Marketing team.

DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
Develop and maintain the Drupal CMS and Acquia environment for our marketing websites.
Build new features, components, and modules based on the need of the business.
Install and maintain new code bases, multi-site configurations and Lift personalization sections.
Gather requirements for new pages and determine which components will best serve the content and overall experience.
Assist the development of non-Drupal, custom developed software applications.
Participate in the requirement gathering process, daily standups and retrospective meetings.
OTHER PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :
2-3 years experience in Drupal 8 / 9 development.
2-3 years experience with complex enterprise or multisite Drupal implementations.
2-3 years experience working with Acquia Cloud, 2-3 years experience using Composer and Drush.
Acquia Grand Master certification a big plus.
Significant PHP and object oriented development experience.
2-3 years of frontend skills (Angular, HTML, CSS, JS, React.js, Node.js)
Knowledge of Database Architecture (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
Experience writing custom modules for Drupal 8 and integrating with external 3d party APIs
Familiarity with Drupal 8 / 9 configuration management, including config-split
Ability to work effectivity in the command line interface, Git, GitLab.
Ability to develop, review, and test custom Drupal modules and themes
Good communication and relationship building skills.
