Pay: $20-22/Hour

Location: Marysville, WA

Job Description

As a Sealant Operator, you will be responsible for building aircraft 787 structures using carbon fiber parts, resins, and epoxies based on engineering drawings and company specifications. This entry-level position requires attention to detail and adherence to manufacturing orders to ensure the quality and integrity of the finished products.

Responsibilities

• Accurately build parts using resins and epoxies.
• Adhere to company specifications, work instructions, and work orders.
• Seal parts per manufacturing order or Static PWO as required.
• Maintain and identify defects in parts, reporting any findings to supervisor or QA.
• Document materials used in the process to maintain traceability.
• Safely handle various regulated materials used in the process.
• Part mark according to engineering drawings, company, and customer specifications.
• Work toward the end of the assembly line.
• Organize completed parts and paperwork.
• Create shipping paperwork, 'Shipper'.
• Submit Shipper to indicate part is ready for shipping and invoicing.
• Move Shipper and part to the Shipping Department.
• Assist the Shipping Department as necessary to prepare packing of parts.

Essential Skills

• Ability to read and understand manufacturing orders.
• Understanding and use of Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to understand and communicate in English at a level necessary for successful job performance.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 0-3 years of experience in a related field.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
