EOD Trainer

Key Role :

Provide real-time readiness and modernization, exercise support and training development, implementing training on current Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTP) on standard and non-standard Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) energetic and mechanical tools used during dismounted and mounted operations. Deliver advanced skills training to EOD technicians. Develop a trained and ready force that provides freedom of maneuver to supported units.

Basic Qualifications :

10+ years of experience in the US Military

8+ years of experience with Explosive Ordnance Disposal

Experience with three or more deployments conducting operations in austere locations

Experience in military training methods and techniques

Secret clearance

HS diploma or GED

Graduate of Naval School Explosive Ordnance Disposal

Completion of Certified Military Instructor Training Course

Additional Qualifications :

Experience in Curriculum Training Development

Experience with producing written reports and evaluations

Experience with advanced electronics

Experience creating and editing training plans that include implementation and evaluation of EOD tasks, techniques, and procedures used during EOD support operations

Experience with developing training to accommodate classroom and hands-on, practical individual and collective task training for forces at the operational Platoon and Team level

Experience planning, developing, executing, and assessing activities within EOD direct action focused exercises, including realistic scenario planning, development, implementation, and execution of exercise tools and controls

Experience with the employment of traditional tools and explosive systems during EOD support operations in a training environment

Ability to prepare briefings and present briefings at a company level and higher

Bachelor's degree

Clearance :

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,300.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
