A well-established law firm is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented paralegal to join its team. This is a full-time, in-office position offering exposure to a wide range of legal work across multiple practice areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Transactions : Assist with formation documents, buy-sell agreements, and business sale documentation.
- Real Estate : Prepare deeds and related documents for filing.
- Civil Litigation : Support attorneys with pleadings, file management, electronic filing in state and federal courts, and client / counsel communication.
- Criminal Defense : Manage pretrial matters, discovery, trial preparation, and implied consent cases.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with attorneys and support staff.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective oral and written communication skills with clients, attorneys, and other professionals.
- Ability to prioritize and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with NetDocs document management system is a plus.
- Strong work ethic and team-player mindset.
