Electrical Technician

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our team. The role involves working on wire harness assembly, reworking connectors, and performing various electrical tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience in the aircraft industry and a strong understanding of electrical components.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret work orders, diagrams, form boards, and wire lists to determine necessary materials and assembly sequence.
• Rework connectors, back shells, wire terminations, splices, split rings, lugs, and other components within a wire harness.
• Wrap, tie, and route wires efficiently.
• Change wire routing and breakouts as needed.
• Perform electrical tests to ensure functionality and safety.
• Complete all associated paperwork accurately and promptly.

Essential Skills

• Experience in wire harness assembly and aircraft components.
• At least 1 year of aircraft electrical experience.
• Proficiency in repair, troubleshooting, and blueprint reading.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret detailed work orders and diagrams.

Work Environment

You will be part of a team of 15-20 employees, working in a collaborative environment. The role requires flexibility to work both 1st and 3rd shifts. The dress code is casual, with jeans, work shirt, and closed-toed shoes. The 3rd shift hours are Monday through Thursday, 9:30 pm to 6:30 am, starting Sunday night, with a shorter shift on Friday, ending at 4:30 am.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wichita, KS.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
