Junior Salesforce Developer

Piper Companies is seeking a Salesforce Developer to join an established Investment Management company located in Wayne, PA. This position is HYBRID, and requires you to be onsite 3 days/week. The Salesforce Developer will combine administrative expertise with hands-on development to deliver impactful solutions for our Sales organization.

Responsibilities of the Salesforce Developer:

• Manage core Salesforce administrative tasks including user access, data operations, and third-party app support.
• Collaborate with technical leads and business stakeholders to gather and interpret requirements.
• Independently develop and deliver high-quality Salesforce enhancements using Apex, LWC, and other tools.
• Ensure thorough testing and documentation of all deliverables.
• Provide timely production support and maintain a strong understanding of evolving business needs.

Qualifications of the Salesforce Developer:

• 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
• Proficiency in Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura Components, and Visualforce.
• Strong command of Apex (Classes, Triggers, Batch Apex) and SOQL.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies: JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience with development tools such as VS Code, Salesforce DX (sfdx), and Git.
• Understanding of component communication within the Lightning framework.
• Experience integrating with REST APIs via Apex is a plus.
• Additional experience in Java, .NET, or Python is a bonus.
• Salesforce certifications are advantageous.
