Radiation Coder

A company is looking for a Radiation Coder / Medical Assistant.

Key Responsibilities

Review radiation cases for billing code accuracy and compliance

Maintain clinical documentation and transmit determinations regarding billing code requirements

Support radiation department initiatives and maintain appropriate billing codes in the internal system

Required Qualifications

Associate degree or higher

ROCC certification preferred or extensive knowledge of ASTRO radiation coding guidelines

Minimum 2-4 years of experience in a radiation billing code role

Ability to teach and demonstrate knowledge needed for clinical assessments

Promote cost-effective medical outcomes
