MRI Technologist Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of recent experience as an MRI Technologist

ARRT (MR) certification required

BLS certification from AHA required

Proficiency with Siemens MRI equipment and software

Experience with contrast administration, trauma studies, triple phase studies, and venipuncture

Fingerprinting must be completed prior to start (cannot begin with results pending)

Flu shot required during flu season

COVID-19 vaccine or approved exemption required

MRI Technologist Responsibilities

Perform high-quality MRI scans according to physician orders and hospital protocols

Administer contrast agents and conduct trauma and triple phase MRI studies

Operate Siemens MRI technology efficiently and safely

Ensure patient safety, comfort, and quality care throughout all procedures

Perform venipuncture as needed for MRI procedures

Maintain accurate and thorough patient records and documentation

Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals

Comply with all hospital policies, healthcare regulations, and safety standards
