Junior Logistics Analyst

SSI needs to add a Junior Logistics Analyst to support our current list of services provided for the U.S.

Navy.

The selected candidate will provide logistic support and perform tasks associated with the Targets Programs supporting the PMA-208 Program Office.

Serve as a member of the Integrated Product Team (IPT) under the direction of the Assistant, Program Manager Logistics (APML) and Deputy Assistant Program Manager Logistics (DAPML).  This position will be located at Point Mugu, CA.

Responsibilities Assist with the Identification, procurement, and repair parts for inventory to support fielded weapons systems and subsystems.

Participate in Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) / Navy Supply Systems Command, Weapons Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) critical parts reviews and provisioning conferences.

Develop and maintain logs, matrices, and other cataloguing tools.

Provide supply, support and warehousing duties.

Provide physical inventory management for subsonic targets parts inventory movement, maintenance tools, support equipment, and test equipment.

Identify, purchase, track, verify, label, ship, receive, deliver, and manage parts / components inventory.

Assist with tracking parts and components data and provide Inventory Reports.

Requirements :

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Up to 3 years’ experience, at least 1 year of experience conducting analytical studies applicable to Integrated Logistics and demonstrated ability to conduct studies, analysis, or evaluations of DoD weapons systems / target / equipment.
• Proficient in use of IBM compatible computers and their software (Microsoft Office / Windows).
• Perform a variety of tasks.
• Work under direct supervision.
• Typically reports to a supervisor or task lead.
• Capable of working with a team or as an individual.
• Must possess a valid California driver’s license.
• U.S.
• Citizenship and must be able to obtain and maintain U.S.
• DoD SECRET Security Clearance required for hire, and to be maintained throughout employment.
