Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1+ years School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A school-based social worker position is available to support students in an elementary school setting in Grand Rapids, MI. This contract role spans the entire school year and focuses on providing vital social work services to enhance student well-being and academic success.

Key Responsibilities :

• Conduct assessments of students social, emotional, and behavioral needs
• Develop and implement individualized intervention plans
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support students
• Provide counseling and crisis intervention as needed
• Connect families with munity resources and external support services
• Maintain accurate case records and documentation

Location : Grand Rapids, MI Elementary school setting

Duration : Contract position for the full school year (CSY)
