Salary Range : $83,200.00 - $93,184.00 ($34.65 - $35.69 per hour)

About the Unit : The Colorectal Surgery and Urology Unit features 22 semi-private rooms and a dedicated post-surgical environment for patients recovering from colorectal and urologic surgeries.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assist with various procedures including chest tube insertion, central line placements, wound vac changes, NG tube placements, Cortrak, and indwelling catheter management.
• Assess, coordinate, and manage patient care throughout their hospital stay, focusing on progress toward discharge.
• Administer prescribed medications, perform treatments, and document care in compliance with regulations.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, evaluating patient conditions and responses to treatments.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to develop and implement individualized Plans of Care for patients.
• Direct and support ancillary staff while maintaining professional nursing standards.
