Now Hiring: Special Education Teacher (SPED) – Portland Area Schools

Position: Special Education Teacher (SPED)
Location: Portland area schools (In-person only – no virtual work)
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Through December, with possibility of extension
Pay: $57/hour

Details:
  • Must hold Oregon certification.
  • Comfortable working with K-2 students.
  • Experience with IEPs, classroom management, and social-emotional skill development.
  • Will be floated between school sites as needed.
  • Students primarily have Autism profiles; program focuses on communication and behavior support.
  • Option to serve as a case manager/IEP writer to support multiple classrooms.

Requirements:
  • Oregon-certified Special Education teacher.
  • In-person availability only.
  • Flexible and able to support multiple classrooms.
