PRN Intake Clinician (Master' Degree) - Behavioral Health Setting

Highlands Behavioral Health System is an 86 bed, acute care psychiatric hospital located in Littleton, CO. Highlands features individual units for adolescents, adults, and seniors, and offers inpatient acute care, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient programs.

The Intake Clinician responds to all persons requesting assistance either by telephone or in person, and provides psychiatric assessment, crisis intervention and referrals to Hospital staff and services to outside sources, based on the nature of the problem(s) and financial resources. Admissions to the Hospital are facilitated through coordinated efforts with the Business Office, Utilization Review and the Department of Nursing Services.

Shift Hours: PRN; must be able to work 1 overnight shift per month; PRN employees are not guaranteed shifts/hours

Shift Differential Pay: Up to $6.00/hour

Requirements:

• Masters Degree in Psychology, Social Work or Counseling.
• Licensed Clinican in the state of Colorado, preferred but not required. If not licensed must have the ability to obtain licensure (LPC or LCSW). Supervision for employees working towards licensure can be provided onsite.
• Prefer previous experience with psychiatric patients of all ages.
