Summer 2026 District-Wide Nurse

Belmont Public Schools is seeking a nurse for a 6-week 2026 summer assignment.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Provide support to the Summer Enrichment Programs
• Review student health and emergency forms, training staff on basic first-aid and administration of epi-pen,
  
  providing regular and emergency care to students as needed; providing consultation to Program Directors as needed
• Review new students registration for school placement
• Communicate with families regarding enrollment requirements
• Provide support as directed by the Director of Nursing

The nurse will be based at the Middle School but available to other schools within the district as needed.

Requirements:

Licensed as a Registered Nurse in MA, current BPS nurse preferred

Proficient in the Massachusetts Immunization Schedule.

School Nurse experience preferred

Hours:

8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. - 4 days per week (M-Th) 6/29/2026 - 8/6/2026

Salary: $225.00 per day
