Senior Manager, Corporate Development
As Senior Manager, Corporate Development, you will provide support to the Corporate Development Group and Business Unit leaders on specific mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and strategic partnership initiatives. Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Corporate Development, you will assist in identifying, analyzing, and executing potential acquisition opportunities in accordance with ADP's strategic and financial growth objectives. Additionally, you will support corporate divestiture and other strategic investment activities as needed.

What you'll do :
Here's what you can expect on a typical day :
- Monitor potential areas of profitable growth and potential acquisition targets through market, industry, and competitive research and company profiling.
- Leverage third-party market intelligence tools (e.g., CB Insights, Pitchbook) to gather data and perform analysis on private market investment (i.e., VC, PE) activity in HR Technology to support the organization's understanding of current market dynamics.
- Assist in the analysis of financial and other available business information of target companies with a view towards their tactical and strategic fit with ADP.
- Assist in the preparation of financial and qualitative analyses and presentations, enabling senior management at the business unit and parent company level to make informed investment decisions.
- Support the acquisition team as needed throughout the transaction process from origination through to closing.
- Collaborate with the appropriate company departments (e.g., Product and Technology, Finance, Legal, Human Resources) as well as any external advisors throughout the transaction and due diligence processes.
- Align with Corporate and BU strategy teams during the strategic planning process on key initiatives that have a business / corporate development orientation and assist with evaluation of buy / build / partner analyses.
- Work closely and build strong relationships with business unit peers as well as those in supporting corporate functions to ensure effective communication and smooth transaction processes.
- Perform other related duties as assigned, including tracking group activity, inbound investment opportunities, etc.
Experience. You have 3+ years of experience in an Investment Banking or similar environment and / or have relevant skills gained and developed in a similar role.

Demonstrated M&A expertise in identifying, analyzing, and executing potential acquisition opportunities with relevant work experience in investment banking, strategic finance, or corporate strategy.Strong experience in financial statement analysis, financial modeling, and company / asset valuation methodologies.Advanced proficiency in Excel, including experience preparing financial and qualitative analyses.Excellent PowerPoint content creation, presentation, data visualization, and storytelling skills, with proven ability to convey complex ideas and create compelling business narratives, presentations, and analyses that drive decision-making.Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to work with and communicate confidently with stakeholders at all levels in a matrix environment.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Detail-oriented with excellent and consistent follow-through and proven ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.Highly motivated, self-starting, intellectually curious individual with a strong desire to learn who can work independently yet also function well as part of the overall acquisition team.Impeccable personal and professional ethics.
