Air Quality Technician

SUMMARY :

This position as an Air Quality Technician is one of full-time employment type. Employee will participate in Air Monitoring activities such as obtaining permits and conducting facility inspections. Employee will also contribute to construction and maintenance of monitoring systems and ensuring accurate documentation of field activities. Assignments will be largely field based and will involve driving to various client sites. This position is considered on-call and the employee must be able to respond to calls and work overtime as needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (Knowledge Skills and Abilities) :

• Three years experience in an industrial setting OR a two-year technical degree preferred.
• Must possess a valid drivers license and maintain an insurable driving record.
• TWIC Card.
• Knowledge of common engineering concepts practices standards and procedures.
• Ability to read interpret create and assemble from drawings wiring diagrams schematics and sketches.
• Strong electro / mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Must have good written and verbal skills including the ability to use Microsoft Excel and Word and other technical programs.
