Job Roles and Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including assessing vital signs and evaluating medical histories
• Interpret imaging and lab results to aid in diagnosing surgical conditions
• Work alongside surgeons to design and implement tailored surgical treatment plans
• Provide vital intraoperative assistance, including preparing the surgical environment and managing instrumentation
• Offer outstanding pre-operative and post-operative patient care, encompassing medication distribution, wound management, discharge planning, and patient education

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Preferably, completion of clinical rotations focused on surgery

Certifications

• Valid and unrestricted PA-C certification
• Current certifications in BLS and ACLS
• Physician Assistant licensure (or eligibility) in the state of California
