Night shifts with 8 and 12-hour rotations, including every third weekend and holiday.

Unit Overview :
Join our 24-bed Neurosurgical Unit and engage with a diverse patient population, including :
Post-operative care for cranial surgeries, including bleed evacuations and tumor resections.Management of spinal surgeries across cervical, thoracic, and lumbar regions.Support for hemorrhagic and ischemic stroke patients within our Comprehensive Stroke Program .High volume of cervical and spinal surgery patients, alongside medical overflow cases.As part of the Aurora Neuroscience Innovation Institute (ANII) , you will gain exposure to the latest techniques and cutting-edge care.

Registered Nurse license from the state in which you practice.Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).Education Required :
Completion of an accredited nursing program.Experience Required :
Typically, at least 1 year of clinical nursing experience.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required :

Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, squatting, reaching, and walking throughout shifts.Lift up to 50 lbs. from floor to waist and carry up to 40 lbs. over reasonable distances.Work may involve exposure to chemicals, hazardous waste, and potential infectious diseases; protective gear will be provided as needed.Must possess adequate functional abilities across speech, vision, hearing, and touch for nursing tasks.This job description provides a general overview of the role and is not exhaustive of all tasks required.
