Job Summary / Description :

Live 5 News is looking for a part-time video editor. Video editors are responsible for shooting and editing videos shot locally as well as from other various sources including CBS & CNN. The editor is responsible for attaching all videos to our early evening newscasts. Our next editor needs to be a good communicator and must be able to meet strict deadlines. While this is an entry-level position attention to detail is an absolute necessity.

Work closely with producers reporters and photographers to complete editing assignments.

Qualifications :

• Prior experience with ENPS and Edius or other non-linear editing is preferred.
• The ability to shoot video is helpful.
• A journalism degree is a plus but we also welcome current students.
• Must be available afternoons and evenings Monday- Friday
