The focused on elucidating the mechanisms of allergic responses, is seeking a Research Associate. This position requires in-depth medical and scientific knowledge to engage in all aspects of clinical research from study design to publication. The goal of the research is to identify novel pharmaceutical targets for the treatment of patients with eosinophilic diseases including eosinophilic gastrointestinal disorders, hypereosinophilic syndromes, asthma, and food allergies. The laboratory has identified and biologically characterized several critical pathways that regulate allergic responses. These discoveries include eosinophil effector mechanisms and the chemokine eotaxin / CCR-3 pathway.

Qualifications
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE :
Required : Candidate must have MD or PhD. Position requires knowledge of the management of clinical trials including ICH Good Clinical Practice standards and strong understanding of FDA and other regulatory requirements for clinical trials. Deep scientific and medical knowledge and excellent communication skills, especially written communication, are required.
Preferred : High-impact publications and collaborative research are prioritized.
