What You’ll Do
Lead & Develop a High-Performing Team
Cultivate a guest-first culture, ensuring every interaction is welcoming and efficientMentor and support Shift Managers and team members through training and coachingEmpower teams by setting clear expectations, providing feedback, and leading by exampleFoster open communication and collaboration across all shiftsSupport Operational Excellence
Assist in executing store-level strategies to drive sales, guest satisfaction, and profitabilityMonitor and manage inventory levels, vendor relationships, and cash controlDrive promotional execution, ensure food service compliance, and elevate the in-store experienceEnsure the store is clean, stocked, and aligned with RaceTrac brand standardsChampion Food Safety & Compliance
Conduct regular food quality checks and coach the team on food safety standardsEnsure compliance with safety regulations and company policiesMaintain and organize required documentation for audits or inspectionsDrive Results Through Collaboration
Analyze reports, identify trends, and take action to improve store performanceSupport team scheduling and staffing needs in coordination with the General ManagerProvide performance feedback and help drive accountability across the teamWhat We’re Looking For
3-5 years of experience in retail, food service, or restaurant leadership1+ year of management experience preferredStrong coaching, communication, and problem-solving skillsExperience in high-volume, guest-focused environmentsAbility to read and act on business metrics such as P&L, labor, and salesMust Haves for This Role

Responsibilities :
Maintains inventory in a neat and organized manner.Supervises and monitors adherence to all safety-related regulations, including food safety regulations.Participates in daily store operational activities as needed : Rings up guests on cash register and balances cash and inventory transactionsEnsures the store is clean and well maintainedStocks shelves and coolers and takes inventory on shelf itemsReceives vendor deliveriesOrders inventory and suppliesPossesses the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and to repeatedly bend, stand, and reach while on the job, with no or infrequent breaks.Greets and interacts with new and regular guests in a genuine manner and suggest products that complement purchase to enhance guest experience.Provides prompt, efficient and courteous service and engages in conflict management when needed.Fosters positive and professional relationships with co-workers and guests, communicates respectfully, and maintains a consistent team-oriented attitude.Addresses any guest concerns on designated shifts.Assists in control of inventory and the flow / distribution of materials, merchandise and supplies.Works with the General Manager to determine the type and quantity of merchandise to be bought, stocked and sold.Sets a leading example of RaceTrac’s Core Values, Leadership Qualities and the RaceTrac Way to entire team.Supports the General Manager in managing the store operation.Directs, plans and apportions the work of store team members on designated shifts.Supervises, coaches, trains and develops store team members.Provides feedback on employee performance and development to the General Manager.Qualifications :
