Inventory Specialist, Amazon Leo

Amazon Leo is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of over 3000 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). Its mission is to bring fast affordable broadband to unserved and underserved communities around the world. Amazon Leo will help close the digital divide by delivering fast affordable broadband to a wide range of customers including consumers businesses government agencies and other organizations operating in places without reliable connectivity.

Export Control Requirement : Due to applicable export control laws and regulations candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national U.S. permanent resident (i.e. current Green Card holder) or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Candidates must be 18 years or older with the ability to understand and adhere to all job requirements and safety guidelines.

Key job responsibilities

• Physically move and expedite materials when required to support production and meet work order completion schedule
• Verify all materials are packaged / bagged and tagged for hand off to the production floor
• Use proprietary software and ERP systems to virtually complete warehouse tasks and movement of parts
• Document system issues process flaws and inefficiencies
• Communicate with quality control purchasing and other related departments to resolve problems
• Operate equipment including : forklifts pallet jacks electric pallet jacks cherry picker and hand carts

A day in the life

Join Project Kuipers inventory team and support the delivery of satellite material to our engineers as we create and deploy satellites to help bring internet to under-served populations. A day in the life would include fulfilling warehouse orders by kitting and packing direct material and delivering the kits to the production floor.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $52000 / year in our lowest geographic market up to $66560 / year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity sign-on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and / or other benefits.
