RESUME REVIEWS AND INTERVIEWS FOR THIS CANDIDATE POOL WILL OCCUR ON A QUARTERLY BASIS. SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES WILL BE PLACED INTO THE ACTIVE CANDIDATE POOL AND MAY BE NOTIFIED WHEN THERE IS AN ADJUNCT INSTRUCTOR OPENING FOR IMMEDIATE HIRE.

Under the supervision of the Dean of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math, this adjunct faculty member is responsible for planning, delivering, and supervising instruction to a diverse population of students. The successful candidate will have documented expertise in the area of teaching and will work with faculty and staff to create an atmosphere of trust and respect in which all can succeed. Adjunct Instructor positions are part-time, semester-to-semester, non-benefited MCCC / MTA / DCE unit positions.

GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES :

Teaches a standard range of courses expected in the first two years of a degree program in the field.

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES :

• Teaching one or more courses in Electrical Engineering Technology (both lab and lecture). Day, evening or Saturday sections may be available.
• Provides relevant and timely feedback on student assignments, including participation.
• Compiles and reports grade-related information according to College policies, procedures, and deadlines. Teaching contracts will be in accordance with MCCC / MTA Collective Bargaining Agreement.
