Position : Patient Access / Emergency Room Manager

Location : Mission Hills, CA

Schedule : Primarily day shifts, Monday–Friday, but must be willing to help cover other shifts as needed

Experience :  3–5 years in hospital leadership, patient access, schedule management, and operations management; experience with HIM, credentialing, or related areas is a plus

Team Size :  Oversees 30 caregivers for the department as a whole

Job Description :

• Lead and mentor a large team, ensuring a positive and productive work environment
• Oversee all aspects of patient access, including registration, insurance verification, and compliance
• Manage department schedules, staffing, and operations
• Partner with HR on employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, and training
• Implement process improvements and maintain adherence to regulatory requirements
• Prepare and present department performance reports
• Provide hands-on support and step in as needed to maintain workflow continuity
• Covering for a leave of absence (likely to become permanent)

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52.00 - $60.00 / hr.
